We chose probably the windiest day of the year to do these pictures—and to top it off, it was one of the first truly frigid days of the season! Needless to say, this session tested everyone’s patience a bit. But despite the cold and the wind whipping us around, these two absolutely crushed it.
We spent the afternoon exploring Annamarie’s family farm, stopping at spots that have been special to her since she was little. There’s something really meaningful about photographing a session in a place that holds so much history and heart. From open fields to tucked-away corners, every backdrop had a story behind it.
This session was extra special for me, though—not just because of the location, but because I got to photograph family. Watching Annamarie and Ty together and capturing their laughter and love felt like such a full-circle moment. I’ve always rooted for their relationship, and seeing them step into this next chapter made the cold and wind completely worth it.
