One of my favorite parts about being a photographer is getting to hear how my couples met and the stories behind their proposals. No two love stories are ever the same, and I love how each one is so unique to the couple. It makes every session feel that much more personal and special.
Dave and Taylor are such a great example of this. Their story began in such a fun and unexpected way—through an internship. What started as a simple connection grew into something so much more, and now here they are, planning forever together.
For their engagement session, we met at Yellow Creek, which gave us the perfect backdrop of water, woods, and wide-open space. The evening was relaxed and easy-going—just like them. They laughed, they enjoyed the moment, and they made my job effortless.
Hearing their story while capturing these photos reminded me once again why I love what I do. Every couple brings a new chapter, a new adventure, and a new reminder that love shows up in the most unexpected places.
