There’s something so refreshing about photographing families who let their personalities shine — and the Myers family did exactly that! We met at the Gardens of Mount Assisi in Loretto, one of my favorite local spots for its peaceful paths, blooming flowers, and picture-perfect light.
As always, the kids brought their own energy to the session — running, laughing, and being exactly who they are. And honestly, that’s my favorite part. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: let me run with your kids, and I promise we’ll get some amazing shots! Those candid, joy-filled moments are what truly tell a family’s story.
This family holds a special place in my heart. I’ve had the joy of photographing their oldest daughter since her senior photos in high school, and now, a few sessions later, I finally got to meet and photograph the whole family together. Watching families grow and reconnect through my lens is such a meaningful part of this work, and I couldn’t have asked for a better day with the Meyers crew.
