Some sessions just fill your heart completely — and this one was one of them.
We did this session at Lone Oak Farms, a spot that felt perfectly peaceful for such a sweet moment. The mom, Taylin, isn’t just a client — she’s a coworker turned close friend, which made this session even more special to me. I’ve been dreaming of the day I’d get to photograph her little girl, Sanai, ever since she told me she was pregnant.
We started with some traditional newborn photos in the flower field — soft light, delicate details, and all those tiny features that change so quickly. Then we moved into family portraits, capturing Taylin, her husband, and baby Sanai together for the first time. Watching their love and joy unfold in front of my camera was something I’ll never forget.
It was such a sweet, peaceful session, and I find myself revisiting these images again and again. There’s just something magical about capturing new life and new beginnings for people who mean so much to you.
