Some sessions come with a little extra adventure—and this one started with a gust of wind and a serious summer chill! We somehow managed to pick the coldest, windiest morning of the summer for Tyler and Morgan’s engagement photos at Yellow Creek State Park, but these two were total troopers, and the magic we captured made it all so worth it.

We started the morning with a more formal look, which paired beautifully with the quiet, misty atmosphere of the park. Despite the breeze trying to steal the show, Morgan and Tyler brought so much warmth and chemistry to every frame.

Then came my favorite part—the outfit change into Tyler’s dress blues and Morgan’s absolutely stunning dress. The contrast between the timeless military look and the flowing elegance of her gown was just breathtaking. The wind might’ve been fierce, but it made Morgan’s dress come alive in the best way.

These two have a story that spans states and seasons. Originally from Pennsylvania and Rhode Island, they actually met at a festival in Florida, and it was there—later in their relationship—that Tyler popped the question. It was a spontaneous, heartfelt moment—so spontaneous, in fact, that he didn’t even have a ring yet! But it couldn’t have been more them: genuine, unplanned, and full of heart.

This session was such a beautiful reflection of who they are as a couple—strong, joyful, and ready to take on anything (including wild weather) together.
