There’s something special about couples who are down for a little adventure—and Allyssa and Montana were all in. From the start, this session felt like one for the books.
We originally had some concerns about the weather. The forecast wasn’t looking too promising, but somehow we managed to dodge the predicted rain and ended up with the perfect soft light that made the whole shoot feel magical.

The location? McConnells Mill State Park—a hidden gem packed with rugged natural beauty. To get to our dream spot, we had to take a road that was technically closed (shh!) and definitely a bit sketchy. But it was all part of the experience, and these two were absolute troopers the whole way.

Once we parked, there was still a bit of a hike to get to where we wanted to shoot. Allyssa, dressed like a queen, powered through the woods in heels like a champ. Little did I know, she had a pair of tennis shoes in her bag with the word “BRIDE” on them the whole time! We had a good laugh about it—turns out practicality was packed, just not worn.

Through all the laughs, nature detours, and forest trails, Allyssa and Montana brought nothing but good vibes. The love between them is easy to capture and even easier to feel when you’re around them. These two make you believe in soulmates.
If you’re up for a little mud on your boots (or heels), some real laughs, and a ton of unforgettable memories—this is your sign to embrace the wild side of love.
